For the second straight day, Formula 1 has amended results from the Miami weekend. One day after Audi's Gabriel Bortoleto was stripped of his 11th-place sprint finish at Miami International Autodrome for a technical infraction, officials adjusted the Miami Grand Prix classification.

Ferrari's Charles Leclerc was summoned to the stewards for three potential offenses following a late spin and brush with the wall on the final lap as he tried to re-pass McLaren's Oscar Piastri for third. He was reviewed for driving a damaged car in an unsafe condition, leaving the track and gaining an advantage on more than one occasion, and his aggression during a battle with Mercedes' George Russell.

The race ended with Leclerc in sixth, but the stewards imposed a 20-second time penalty — the equivalent of a drive-through if issued during the 57-lap race at the 19-turn, 3.363-mile (5.412-kilometer) Miami International Autodrome in Miami Gardens, Florida.

The official reason for the penalty was that Leclerc left the track "on several occasions without a justifiable reason". The 20-second sanction dropped him from sixth to eighth, promoting teammate Lewis Hamilton to sixth and Alpine's Franco Colapinto to seventh. The adjustment affects both the drivers' and constructors' standings.
